The author discussed with many experienced LED lamp head designers and concluded that if there is a difference in the lighting effect of solar LEDs under the same output power, there are usually two cases: 1. Street lamp head heat dissipation is not good; 2. Although they are 1W LEDs, there are still many differences.
First of all, whether the heat dissipation is good has a great influence on the light efficiency and service life of the LED. If the heat emitted by the LED cannot be dissipated in time, the thermal stress distribution will be uneven, thereby reducing the luminous efficiency of the chip and the excitation efficiency of the phosphor. When the temperature changes, the performance and packaging structure of the LED will be affected, thereby affecting the reliability of the LED. Therefore, try to choose a lamp head with better heat dissipation effect, and do not use a heat dissipation lamp head that cuts corners for the sake of cheapness.
Second, there are many parameters that affect the lighting effects of LEDs. For example, the luminous flux, color temperature and chip size of an LED all affect its luminous effect. For chips of the same brand, if a 35mil chip is used, the effect is not as good as a 45mil chip. In addition, different brands of chips have different effects. The so-called "one price one product".
